DAY 01 II ARRIVE HYDERABAD

Welcome to your Hyderabad tour, On arrival at the airport/ railway station, you will be meet and transferred to your hotel. After fresh up proceed to visit Snow world, NTR Gardens.

Snow world: is an amusement park in Hyderabad. The temperature here reaches approximately 0 to 5 degree centigrade to create the perfect temperature and ambiance of being physically present in a snow capped locale. The park has replicas and images of polar bears, penguins, alpine trees, igloo etc. which gives the impression of being in the polar region. Adventurous sports like trekking, ice skating, ice boarding, snow slides with bumping-car, toboggan rides, etc can be enjoyed. Evening return to hotel and Enjoy delicious dinner.

Today after fresh up and breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing of Hyderabad. Golconda Fort, Charminar, Mecca Masjid, Salar Jung Museum, and Chowmahalla Palace.

 

Golconda Fort – is a majestic monument, which lies on the western outskirts of Hyderabad city. Built by Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah in 1525, it is the epitome of Nawabi culture and grandeur. The construction of Golconda fort is believed to have started in 1143 as a mud fort during the rule of the Kakatiya Dynasty. A new attraction at the Fort is the sound and light show that brings the legend of Golconda to life. It is an experience worth watching. The show is presented in English, Hindi and Telugu language.

Charminar – which is an amazing blend of Indo-Islamic architecture. Built

in 1591 CE, the Charminar is a monument and mosque which is a global icon of Hyderabad. It is coined from two words Char and Minar, which translate as Four Towers. It is said that the Charminar was built at the centre of the city to commemorate the eradication of plague.

Mecca Masjid – is one of the oldest mosques in Hyderabad and one of the largest Mosques in India. The aura and sanctity that emanates from the sanctum of Mecca Masjid is said to be simply divine. Founded by Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah, the fifth ruler of Qutub Shahi dynasty, it is said that he himself laid the foundation stone and the bricks used to construct the central arch of the mosque have been made from soil sourced from Mecca.

Salar Jung Museum – of Hyderabad is the world’s largest one-man collection

– a repository of the artistic achievements of diverse European, Asian and Far Eastern countries of the world and houses over 43,000 paintings, 9,000 holographs and 47,000 printed books. The major portion of the collection at Salar Jung Museum was acquired by Nawab Mir Yousuf Ali Khan popularly known as Salar Jung III, a world renowned art connoisseur. One of the most ancient heritage buildings of Hyderabad,

Chowmahalla Palace– is a piece of art. Chahar or chow means four, and mahal means palace; hence the name stands for four palaces. Once regarded as the centre of Hyderabad, the magnificent Chowmahalla Palace was where the Nizams entertained their official guests and royal visitors. Built over 200 years ago, Chowmahalla is renowned for its unique style and elegance.
